i just put new speakers in my car and while removing the old cd player i disconnected everything and all put it all in and wired up the new speakers tested my wires as not to cross + and - but after i did all that i put the cd player back in and hooked the antenna up pushed it in turned it on and nothing nothing turned on but when i disconnect the power and hook it up i can hear the cd players motor kick on to see if there is a cd in it i am not good with electrical i tear down and rebuild motors and trannies fine but this is just something i cant grasp any ideas

ill try that but ive had this problem before with an old cd player hence why i replaced it with this one i was just driving and it shut off and i could disconnect the power and reconnect it hear the motor spin but i got nothing on the faceplate after pushing the power i did nothing to the wiring as far as changing it so i was wondering if i just burnt the cd player out
