Did I break the window?

Long story...

Ok, Recently I bought a new car. 97' Ford Probe. I installed a system soon after, A couple days after the system was installed I noticed the window behind the driver's door was loose. I was able to stick my fingers in through the window into the hatch and fit my arm in. Now today I just got my car back after having the guys were I bought it from get the inspection sticker for it.

On my way home I stopped at a service center to get the pre-insurance inspection done to it. When I get out of my car I noticed that, That particular window was fucking gone! They couldn't do the inspection because of the weather. So I'm pissed, Not to mention the bastards left me with no gas and 2 minutes after driving it home the damn check engine light comes on again!

Now am I screwed? Since I didnt get the insurance finished up before the window broke. Is it my fault? And will I have to pay?

EDIT: I did not have a system in my car when the window fell out. I took it out before I dropped the car off just incase.

I'm kinda nervous now, Was It the system that started the initial looseness of the window you think? This is one of those windows that doesn't roll up and down BTW. If I do get it fixed I don't want this to happen again. So I'm scared to put the system back in after all is said and done.

The system:

Wire: 6 guage power/ground

Amp: Hifonics TX1505

Sub: PA Mofo 15"

Box: 4^ft@32Hz

What do you think?

Ford must use some shitty adhesive...
Yea that's what I thought. Because I mean, The system is loud, But cmon there's people doing 150+ all day long who don't have windows falling out the **** car and running away.

well if u had the PA mofo in there i would say that no your system didn't cause it to break, i think the window saw that sub and laughed it self out.

j/k
I know the build quality isn't something to bloat about, But the thing is **** loud and has been running awesome with the amp at almost 3/4 gain and bumpin' chopped and screwed Late Nite Tip and Hoods Run Down all day full blast. BTW both those songs go well below my tuning frequency //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

SSF set wayy too low FTW! 15Hz to be exact.

my brother has a 1993 probe gt and his didnt fall out with his system so it must have just gotten loose with age
Yea deff. So the insurance company is gonna put in a new window for me, Thank god. But I'm still scared it's gonna happen again, lol.

I laughed at that one too. I keep fighting with a newb over at another fourm thinking his PA fubar SUB(yes I said fubar, which is below the MOFO) is louder and sounds better than a H2 orion. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Ford just builds shitty cars, the 90's Ford probes were plagued with recalls.

Thankfully it looks like their starting to improve their build quality these days.

I do have a 18 SX, Just gotta build a box for it.

BTW, Fubars pwn your parents.

6 guage wire?
Ya I can't afford 1/0 right now so I am using some old wire. The system is being choked by the electrical anyways lol.

I realized this after the fact.
