Did i blow my amp?

well i was hooking my 4-channel back up and i wasnt paying attention and my power wire hit teh ground terminal on the amp and it made a spark, and blew the fuse on teh power wire so i switched the fuse and hooked up the ground and power and remote wire and i turn my ignition on and the amp doesnt turn on...wth is wrong? my remote wire is kinda shady the way i have it crimped in the back of the HU but i dont think the remote wire would effect it from turning on or not would it?

try jumping your remote off of the main power wire, make sure you're getting +12v across your main power wire/ground wire and if your amp isn't turning on its probably damaged. Does it have any built in fuses? Check those too

what do you mean jump my remote off my power wire? and i did check those fuses they are fine...
just connect the main power wire to the remote input as well as the +12 input on the amp, or just check with a dmm and make sure the remote wire is getting voltage as well, I've blown fuses in my car's stock electrical circuit that were powering the remote wire before, thought I destroyed my HU a couple times, turned out to be fuses

use your positive wire from your head unit as your remote wire and see if you are getting a signal at the amp.. if you are and the amp don't come on, its fried

aaahaha, got it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif it works now. dont ask my why or how, its a powerzone crunch amp...enough said.
