Did a CA.com bro just go on a shooting spree? (Srs)

According to laws of physics, electric current is that which in a speaker driver effects diaphragm acceleration, which in turn produces sound pressure. Yet all power amplifiers strive, often tooth and nail, to control the voltage at the loudspeaker terminals, which only indirectly affects the current flowing in the voice coil.

quick quote from the page.. its widly accepted the the current is the driving force of loudspeakers, not voltage.

YES. impedance has little to do with efficency, current flow through the transistors do.. if you run a amp @ 1ohm same devices in hte output as a amp at 4 ohm and the current through them is identical technically so is efficiency

im lost? why is high impedance better?
I said, low impedance is less efficient and very strenuous on semiconductors. It also robs you of damping factor, while it has been suggested is a bit over-rated, you lose it as you drop impedance.

the current is what creates the EMF(electromagnetic field) that reacts to the magnetic field. voltage is just the pressure. higher voltage doesn't create more force within the motor high amperage does.. as said depeningn on how over built the amp is it will fair better at lower loads efficiency wise. but yes 2 ohm is slightly more efficent, but only becasue your not near the transistors limit like at 1 ohm.
All the pie in the sky efficiency claims of class D amps are at 4 ohm. Efficiency really goes to hell the further down you go. You cannot escape the heat!

Explain the DB scores of Taylor Fade's "7K roundup" where JBL/Crown a6000gti seems to produce SPL numbers greater than those of amps which clamp more power.

the efficiency goes down because current goes up.. if you increase the devices you increase efficiency.

dampening fator is related to output impedance. you want the impedance of the output lower than the coil.
