I would say so, Make sure it is an UNCLIPPED signal though. I run 3-4k on mine daily but i don't have a clipping sensor so i tear them up frequently. I may be doing 30% THD and not even know it on my amps. That AQ2200 is nice though cause you got that notification lamp.

have someone check ur voltage @ amp with a dmm when you burp. ur rear battery is too small. ur stock alt will be fine as long as you are burping not bass racing. get a bigger battery and a 2nd run of 0 gauge front to back...

wouldnt surprise me, from your description, that you might be choking off the subs some. if they take up your whole hatch area....how much room do they have to actually breath back there? sound pressure level is nothing but movement of air...if youre not moving air efficiently, then what are you doing besides wasting power?

2 runs of 0 gauge get more power to ur amps. post pix of ur enclosure. for a comp box you dont want more than 1.5cf net per 12".

I had my box designed by DJ, he sent me the specs so I figured he would know best. Its a little less then 2 cubes per sub.

Wouldn't I want the second run of wire coming from the back batteries? Or from the front?

No I did not, funds wise that will probably be the first thing I do since its cheap

Try a bigger box.

And screw around with the ports until you find a good match.

Use fiberglass

Get a good battery for the front, do the big three, then work on you enclosure, if you really want to get loud then make a little box tuned high. Pics of your system will help too.
