12 kicker cvx vs Db drive plw which is better?

I really need some info on what to do, I have some new db drive plw rated at 2000 watt max and 1000 rms. I know wattage is not everything but the magnet on the db is also bigger. I want to know which sub has more potential? Which will pound harder and sound better?

First of all, you'll want to buy an amplifier that will power either pair of subs properly. We've already established in your other thread (where this exact question was asked) that your 1,000 watt Memphis is not underrated by 50% or more.

If you plan to underpower the subs, I'd go with the Kickers. They're only rated for 500 watts more than your Memphis is rated for. The DBs, on the other hand, require 1,000 watts more than your Memphis is rated for.

For the Kicker CVX's (if they're 4 ohm dvc models).

Anything that'll do a clean 1,500 - 1,750 watts rms @ 1 ohms.

For the DB Drives (if they're 4 or 1 ohm dvc models and can handle their rated power).

DC Audio 2000.1D

Audioque 2200D

Anything that'll do a clean 2,000 - 2,250 watts rms @ 1 ohms.

There are hundreds of viable options if you're willing to buy a new amp. But there really is no point in buying these subs if you plan to power them with your Memphis. It's a nice amp, but it's not powerful enough for what you want to do...
