Dicking station/USB hub w/ audio opinions?

Im looking for a good docking station/port replicator or USB hub with audio out for my laptop. All I really need is a 4 port USB hub that allows an audio out source that doesn't have to be connected via the microphone out on the laptop, but can get the signal from the USB ports on the laptop. My main goal is for one USB connection to my laptop, which will enable the 4 USB devices and the audio out (microphone jack) which goes to my receiver and speakers.

I'm looking at the Targus 4 port hub with audio pass-through, but dont really know what the "pass through" means. Does that mean i have to go from my comp microphone jack to it as well as the regular USB cord or what?
