Hey I was just wondering if this amp really puts out what it says....I know I can get a better deal for the price but I like the way it looks and I'm willing to pay for it if it's really good put out 1200w at 1ohm thanx for your help

D5's are great amplifiers that undoubtedly put out more power than rated- I know of many Maxima members running them contently and satisfied- most of them running DA TDX's which require pretty good juice to get'm movin'

I have personal experience with the D3 amps (were designed by Robert Zef (Arc/Zapco) and those suckers are proven warriors too at a good price

a D51200.1 pushing a TDX in a transmission line box is like my dream system (or maybe a few of each). Ive owned a D5300.2 and it was a monster, got rid of it because I needed money, and it retailed for $500 so I sold it. Diamond Audio also have great warrenty and are very good company to work with, had a dust cap blow of my cm3 and sent it to the factory and they sent me a new one no questiones and its over a year old. Diamond Audio all the way! atriotic (well that smiley doesnt work!)

also all my speakers, and subs are Diamond Audio they are great!

Yea I plan on getting that amp and the new M6 Mark II 15s so hopefully that will sound good....now I just gotta shop around and see who will give me the best deal b/c I'm not into the whole DIY stuff I don't have the time or patients //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Id like to know what kinda price you are looking at, I can tell you how much everything is here in NC.

The cheapest I've found around here are...

$200 each for the subs

$450 for the amp...

I didn't wanna pay that much but the only cheaper place I can find is woofersetc.com and I would rather not but it online....other places quoted me like $799 for the amp and I just laughed and hung up the phone...

so let me know what prices are like up there for you

It think the sub is same price, ill be going by there as soon as UPS drops my woffer off over there sent it to Diamond and they are sending me a new one.

Definately a good solid amp. I have been dealing with/selling DA for about 4-5 years now and have nothing but pleasure dealing with them. Warranties are great, but only if bought (1yr) and installed (3yr) from a legit dealer. Nothing online allowed as Im sure you already know.

Yes the TL enclosures are very ideal, and work with all of their lineup. Probably my most commonly sold enclosure. Too bad it takes a few hours to construct. lol
