Sold Diamond Audio TDX 12 D2

Up for sale is a TDX dual 2 that is in excellent condition. The spiders are still so stiff that the cone hardly moves. There is a slight dent in the centercap that has to be in the right light to see, and someone tried to drill holes in the rubber trim ring instead of peeling it back. You can hardly notice those unless you are close up. My trading reputation speaks for itself here.

This sub is awesome. It is probably my second favorite to date, only second to the IDMax. I have owned an OZ ME, Claw Mag, Infinity Perfect VQ, SS-RLp, to name a few.

Do you think this thing would sound good if it was only getting 500wrms or so? (amp is rated at 600, but it's cheap so I'm gonna say 500. It's a profile ap1200)

Trying to replace 2 Alpine Type S 12s I had and I'm looking for a good sub for the money. I'd been looking at stuff like the RE SE and Diamond D6. I'm sure this sub is good, but I don't want to be starving it for power and getting it's potential from it.

Sometime in the future I'd like to get a 1000w RMS or so amp, but I can only get one for now. Amp still working and blown subs makes the decision pretty easy.

Oh yeah, this would be better than two type s subs. The two type s subs would probably be louder(because there is twice the surface area), but this TDX would sound so much better. I have had profile amps, and they usually do rated power. I would say you would be in good shape if you put this in a ported box. I had mine in two cubes to 29hz, and it was very nice. I tried it sealed, and was unimpressed. The SE or D6 may make a little better use of the power, but this sub is really amazing. Especially if you plan to up the power later.
