Everywhere you look on the new Studio series subwoofer you see some form of metal creatively used to improve performance. From the artfully designed O2 Cast aluminum frame basket to the unique heat dissipating radial heat sink, Studio subwoofers are built for sonic quality and speed. Featuring dual mirror image flat spiders attached to a dual 3″ four layer voice coil applied into an intercooled motor design with vented pole piece ensures that Studio subwoofers can handle the power.

We got Diamond Audio after the "D" subs were discontinued so I can't answer that. I was informed that the SX subs are, at least externally, identical to the D6 subs. The TX subs, which are mid-level, are completely new.

The siq amps are Sq beast as well. And much cheaper. Made by s&I in Korea iirc
