Well, I've seen the comparision on Icix and it looks like it competes with the w7(12" comparision) but I'm looking for the 15" version, does anyone have experience with these, well built? problems? how much do they take RMS? worth its price? the 15" is a big difference than 12"?

thx

hmm...i just saw his threads... but he dindt even used it to say how it is!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

i know of D915s running on 2000w ea, i feed my 12s 1250 or so w

no issues.,actually I think they want more power....

great subs, but since Koop left DA the CSR has been non exsistant....

the tdx 12" that i had, which according to coot over at diamond is the same woofer, it was really tight and punch but lacked bottom end a little. unfortunatly i never got to try it ported.

Its not coot, its KOOP and he Emailed me when he left

DA as to say Farwell.

Actually I run one of each, they are one and the same woofers

To say they lack bottom end is insane bro...These

things are bottom dwellers for sure

whatver his name is, you got the point anyway. they have tons of upper bass, and go low, but dont have that bottom end energy some others do. they go low, but dont sounds as powerful as they do on the upper bass notes. i traded mine for a d3 12" and i am happier with the performance.

how come, the D3 it goes lower?

i am happier with the sound of the d3. it sounds a little more natural. the tdx sounds a little too punchy for me. it just doesnt have that energy i like. it produces a nice sound but lacks that in your face bass i like. with 700-800 watts on a d3 12" though, it sounds good. i had 1200 on that tdx. and plus the tdx isnt as durable as the d3. its in my boat and in a boat you cant hear all the distortion you can in a car, so you tend to beat the shit out of stuff. i think i went through 5 or 6 tdx 12"s.

wut about d6? u went threw them?

yeah i bought worlddre's D9 15. its a great sub. im only feeding it 600 watts (jbl bp600.1) and it is LOUD. at least for me, but i'm no bass head...

i too read the reviews on ICIX and thats what really tipped me towards it.

its a GREAT sub in my opinion.

goes pretty low. the roll-off isnt significant but its somewhat noticable.

as far as rms, i know its rated for 1000, but id say it could handle about 1500 daily. mine barely moves (about 1/4 excursion) at full tilt right now.

huh?? a D3 over a D9??

I have owned CM3's(same as D3) and I felt they missed a ton of

musical sounds,compared to a D6 and esp a D9
