Diamond Audio D9

How do these compare to other SQL super subs? I am looking at a 15" D9, anyone on here heard one? I just wondered how they stacked up to other subs of this nature. I have owned a 12XXX, 12 ED A (flatcone), 13W7. I just sold my W7 and am thinking of going with an 18. But there are 2 15's that have always caught my eye. The Diamond TDX/D9 and the new 15 Mag D2.....The D2 is a sexy beast....So is the D9.....+ 18's are somewhat hard to come by (at least SQL 18's that are SQ biased.)

the D9 is excellent. it has great sq with some of the bass too!.. ebay had a good deal with D9's and TDX(older version)

we used to have a TDX 15 in a show car. It was very nice, in a pretty small ported box, with only 800w rms.

I cannot make a direct comparison of the D9 to the SI Magnum but my local Diamond dealer set up a van for a guy with a pair of 15" D9s with a D61500.1 amp on each one. It was very, very loud and extremely musical at the same time.
