Diamond Audio D1s

With the talk about the Memphis PRs, the Diamond D1 are the same. They are capable of taking double RMS no problem. I had 4 12"s and want to run them again. I had shop coverage before, but I won't now (eBay). They ran two Earthquake TNT 2000s on them and they took it well. Then I got a D3 800.1 and it sounded better than the 2 EQs which were suppose to be 2000 watts. Then I got a RF 601s and it just slammed like no other. So my question is, should I risk running 2000 watts (Two D3 1000.1s) on them or get D3 12"s to be safe?

i run a 12"d-3 every now and then with an mtx 81000d at 2 ohms and it handles it just fine and gets quite loud as well. that amp puts out a solid 1000 rms at 2 ohms but in the near future i will be swapping it out with a fusion nv-am2500 which is 1310 rms at 2 ohms. never tried the d1's but the d3 is a good choice.
