OK, not sure why it did that, but here is my question...

I am considering the following:

JL Audio 12W6V2

Diamond Audio D912

I was wondering what everyone thinks?

Have heard both, both have amazing sq, and can get good and loud. the diamond will have more output in a proper box, but will want alot more power.

i would take the diamond myself, always wanted one.

I liked the way the JL sounds better than the diamonds... i think the diamonds are over rated and over priced.. thats just my opinion

I have not heard a diamond sub yet but I have heard plenty of w6's. I really like how the w6's sound....very clean and can get decently loud. Sorry I can't compare the two really but I did enjoy how the w6 sounded.

I agree with neonrt on this. I had a d9 and it was loud and sounded amazing. My buddy had a 12w6v2 and it too sounded amazing but wasn't as loud. If you have the power get the diamond if not go with jl. Anyone you get you will be happy with.

Having heard both (in proper installs) I'm going to have to agree with the real decision maker here will likely be the amount of power you'll end up having to work with.

The Diamond will get louder but it will take more juice to get it there.

The Dub6 will sound likely just as good (albeit not as loud) and won't require the wattage for optimal performance that the DAT will need.

I'd get the Diamond, but in my opinion the D6 is more comparable to the w6v2 and the D9 is more comparable to the w7. Even if making that comparison, I would still pick the D6 over the w6v2, much less the D9.
