I remember seeing someones post that had an image of how to wire an amp to door speakers. I can't seem to find it anymore and I didn't think of saving the image at the time. I tried searching but I couldn't find it.

If someone has a picture or diagram of how to wire this it'd be greatly appreciated. I think I understand how to do it but I'd like to have something to look at and double check my work.

Thanks

I have no pics to show but its pretty simple. Assuming u are running a comp set and have a 2 channel then left sides pos/neg goes into terminal 1 of amps pos/neg and same applys to right side comp only it goes into terminal 2 of the amps pos/neg.

If we are talking about running front and back speakers and u have a 4 channel then same applys just 1 speaker per terminal and with a 4channel you would have 4 terminals thus ebough room to wire all 4 speakers to its own channel.

Not calling u an idiot but its pretty simple.

Sorry. It does sound really simple and was probably a dumb question. What I was stuck on though is how do you wire the headunit into all of this?

Wire from headunit to amp speaker inputs and the speaker output on amp to door speakers?

It's components and 2 channel amp.

So u plan on running new speaker wire to urs doors or using the crappy factory speaker wire??

Install HU run a pair of rca's from HU to amp. Run speaker wire from amp under carpet to front of car threw door boots and hook up speakers.. Oh and connect the turn on wire from HU to amp. Boom u got music..
