cdt components

The 61a comps are the older comps they handle 160 total rms power both side together so 80 per side. So you should be fine. Just be careful on the treble the tweets for that set isn't the best. But for a low end comp set they are pretty decent I think

You're not going to need to look for a smaller amp. If the CL-61A components sound strained at high volume with 135W per side then don't turn the volume up so high. I don't think those are rated as a set, but rather per side.

If the included TW-24 tweeters sound like the TW-25 tweeters CDT currently bundles with CL components they will easily be tamed by aiming them off axis. If you put them on the doors or in the kick panels the treble is not likely to be overbearing. I only had to turn my tweeters off axis when I moved them up above the dash, and that's strictly because they were too loud, not because they sounded harsh.
