How can I tell what a box(like one that was prebuilt) is tuned to?

Can I play tones and will it be loudest at the tone that it's tuned to?

How exactly can I figure it out without ripping the box open?

I can usually do that, but that is not the right thing to do... there are thousands of variables that can make a 35hz tune sound loudest at 35, or 40, or even 45hz!! Just can't really tell...

If it's tuned low, and you have a nice sub, you can feel it in your ***...

Play test tones from 20-60hz in 1hz increments and watch the sub.It'll move the least at the tuning freq.

It's a diamond d610d2 and I'm running it on 1200w.

I actually don't even have the sub yet. I'm buying it tomorrow at 10AM.

thats a negative, subs usually peak higher then their tuning freq. but it is all determined by box design
