Designing cutsheets?

i think it was RE audio .com that had not a program, but a guide of how to sketch it by hand. I saw it and thought "this is stupid" but it was actually helpful and saved me some extra MDF but you have to actually sketch it yourself.

The only reason I want to make a cutsheet is because I live in a apartment and I have to have all my cutting done at HD.Last time I tryed to have them cut my pieces they said some bullshit about not being able to make that many cuts because of rules. So I was thinking if I had a cutsheet all layed out for them they would geet off there lazy *** because they dont have to do much measuring and I wouldnt lose out on wood

sketch is teh easy. make a sheet 4x8, then use the square tool to the size you need. and just place them all how ever u need.
I cant seem to get the demensions right with my mouse.Lets say I wanted to make a 97x49 rectangale the closest I can get is 97 1/4 x 49 5/8,or am I missing something

lowes and home depot dont do PROJECT cuts. they cut down to size so you can fit them into cars trunks etc.

maybe you can get off your lazy *** and cut the wood yourself?

i remember working at lowes and *****es like you would want us to cut out whole **** cabinets and shelves for them. what the fuck do you think lowes and home depot are? you want a whole **** box cut out precise, go to a cabinet builder and ask them to cut it and pay them their prices.

Like I said I live an a apartment,And dont have the spare cash to have someone build it for me or do the cuts.I think they should change there policy so people in my pos.can do there projects without having to pay someone to do it

And to the OP, just take it to a cabinet shop and they should do it for you fairly cheap.
Thats another problem,I dont have a truck or now someone that has one,so if that was the case I would have to rent one at a cost I can not afford

hahaha i built my last 2 boxes with a ryobi circular saw in the balcony of my apartment.

thats no excuse. what did lowes do for me? oh yea, cut the mdf down so i could fit it in my explorer.
