Box size is fine but why would you tune that low? Curious.

Every day music and 29hz tuning is a p*ss poor choice of tuning. 33 to 36hz is much better.

A friend of mine told me to try and tune it to 29 hz because it will be a more linear freq responce ! and also i listen to loads of decaf. One question , if i tune it to 33 and play a song that has a drop of 26 hz what will happen to the subwoofer, i heard that will have more excursion of something. I will post later a design of a 33 hz box. thanks for the responce

If u listen to lots of decaf and lower music 29hz tuning is fine... I'm tuned to 30hz and I wish I was tuned to 25hz... But if I make a port extension my back seat won't be usable lol.

LOL decaf is not everyday music, its low end emphasized modified music

Thought you wanted a wider genre of music hence "everyday music" which will be 33-36hz tuning.

However 29hz is perfectly fine for decaf, keep the design if thats the music you'll listen to most of the times.

So what I understand from this, 29 Hz tunning is fine for "modified" music (my thought of tunning lower was like for SQ similar to a sealed box) and 30 - 38 or something for any kind of music. My question here is will this box turned to 29 sound bad on regular music?

The box total volume is 2 cubic ft, the subwoofer sees like ~1.67cubic ft
