Dell laptops.. Worth the price...

I know its sad these days .. 512 MB ram is weak... But then again this dell desktop ive been on for about 5 yrs now is working just fine and it is only 512 MB RAm 120 GB hd and an avg. grphics chip... Not to mention im still running Norton and Macafee
If it meets your needs man, then go for it (that's not sarcasm)//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Yea i need a quick response bump //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Is there a flagship for mainstream lap/desktops to what is better than the other .. Ive pretty much made up my decision about my laptop, and was wondering for the future ( 2 yrs down the road or so ) What has been a good overall desktop.. Not top of the line but very good

Desktops are a dime a dozen.

RAM,& a Video Card are the only things I look for in a desktop, there is no better (u should know that:) )

i do no that.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

But dell seems to have better processors, graphics card, memory , for 150 less than even the cllosest HP or toshiba

Dell always uses the latest chip technology, there never skimp on quality there.

So.. in ur opinion . what is a top of the line too desktop??
KNG too-- ur opinion
As far as desktops go I like sony Vaio. Nothing like their car audio line, but dont expect to save any money on one of these.

Of all the computers that we have, the desktop is the oldest (5 yrs) & still the most (for lack of a better word cause Iv'e no coffee) powerful. It just so happens to a Dell.

We also built one & it's not too shabby either. Also there is nothing wrong with going that route either, but I really would rather spend my time doing something esle, rather than building a pc. I guess I'm just getting old & lazy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I hate to say this, but if you're looking for a top of the DT, look into MAC's $$$ (and yes there is a MAC that runs windows). I dont particularly like them, but they are extremely powerful, and as far as media applications go, I dont think that you could do much better. Again, I don't like them, but that's not to say that you won't.

it only takes like an hour to put together a desktop... it takes longer to install the OS and shit than it does to put it together..

I mean its some drives, a mobo, a case, some fans a chip and a graphics card.
