Delete Key <- MotherF'er

what the **** did your first post even mean?

you hit delete, and got rid of your entire music folder? because first, it ask if you are sure you want it to be deleted. then (lets say you have a sizeable amount of music) it takes quite some time to delete that many files. and third of all, it moves that shit to the recycle bin.

THREE chances to press NO, Cancel, and Undelete.

how the EFF did you do this (presuming this is what the thread is about)

Phone man knows what the story is...

First off it doesn't give you three chances...

Second, I cleared my mp3 backup directory off my external drive so that I could re-run a backup off my production machine, normally a delete takes seconds, but when you have 60 gig of mp3, you have to start a delete and then come back a while later to check in on it..

During the course of deleting files, I was distracted by "other issues" and when I came back I forgot where I was at in the process and hit the delete key again...

How did it happen.... Not f'ing concentrating...

However, I am fairly certain that between undelete and I also gave my neighbor my external drive lately to copy everything, I should be able to recover..

My last dvd backup of 10 dvd's has a good number of the files as well..

oh well...
