Actually..different siren,Red Large LED with bezel, digital shock sensor rather than standard 504D in Viper, The remote colors arent the only variant- the Cliffords are a bit more flushed to avoid accidental pressing. Coincendential? Probably so, but still alot prefer it.

well when i walked in to directed and asked ron for the alarm he said "do you want the 3.5 or the 791...theyre the same thing but different remotes" im just going on what i was told

From a sales point, maybe so. Im just stating the facts. Feels free to go back and verify. I assure you though..the parts are not pulled from the same bins.

On which point? Are you telling me that the differences arent there? Or that the shock sensors are pulled from the same bin? I cant see a 504C and a 504D coming from the same bin, nor the LEDs either.

I have the 3.5RSX and I'd love to get the SST. I haven't found a whole lot of info on the SST, so is it a whole new alarm or can I just buy it and swap brain/remote? Thanks.

i found out its just the brain and the antenna as the other guy said

yes it is just the brain, antenna and the remote because the sst remote has a longer antenna on the remote than the normal remote. my buddy just upgraded the antenna on his 791 and gets like a 1/2mile range. i am gonna get the 791 maybe the sst depending on my mood at the point of order. i havent heard to much on the 5900 kuz not to many people are picking them up kuz of the extra $100 they cost.

im wondering when the new g5 remote is coming out, it was like half of the clifford/viper remotes and used a little scroll wheel on the side to scroll through the menus

If your referring to the "Matrix" line...neither. They will both function the same.
