dei motion sensor problem

I recently installed a clifford 50.5x alarm/remote start. I also hooked up the add-on audio sensor. This was an easy connect with the included Y-plug that allows both the audio sensor and the shock sensor to be hooked into the shock sensor port. I also hooked up the add-on motion sensor. The plug for this add-on has 4 wires with it: 1) power, 2) ground, 3) warn-away (sends a 500ms pulse), and 4) full alarm. To hook this up I wired the power and ground in parallel with the power and ground to the audio sensor, and then I wired the warn-away and full alarm wires together and connected the resulting wire to the unused zone 4 sensor input wire on one of the brain harnesses. I think wiring the warn-away and the full alarm together should work since inputs to the brain less than 0.8s trigger a warn and more triggers a full alarm (the shock sensor and audio sensor are wired this way too). The problem is that the warn away does not work; the full alarm is triggered regardless of if the warn away or the full alarm is triggered according to the motion sensor (the motion sensor signals red or green depending on the warn or full trigger). Any suggestions as to what the problem is? Thanks.

Do you mean on the actual motion sensor itself? I first turned the trigger zone sensitivity all the way down, then I started turning the warn away zone (which actually increases the size of both zones) up. The motion sensor itself has two lights on it, a red and a green light, that light up depending on if the warn away zone or the full trigger zone has been triggered. I then sat in the car, very still, and had the wife approach it slowly. There is never any warning given off, and when she breaches the warn-away zone the light turns green and the full alarm goes off. If I make a sudden movement inside the car the red will go off as well as the full alarm. I thus know that the motion sensor at least identifies the zones correctly. Could my wiring the warn and full alarm wires together be screwing it up? I don't see how because the motion sensor warn is a 500ms pulse and it takes a 0.8s pulse to set off a full alarm.

Later.
