I am about to install a alpine mrd m1005 (1000 wrms) to a kicker l7 15insub. I need to buy wires. The amp takes up to 4 gauge and needs a 80 amp fuse. I have looked at this kit http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KLM-K4 will this be all i need, to get my complete system working?

NOOOOOO

do not wire the kicker sub to the alpine amp. it wills end a clipped signal. they have different technologies incorporated in their products that wont work together. youll blow it.

yup. the have a protection feature. it makes it so if an alpine amp recognizes a different manufacturers product, it starts a medium clipped signal so that the sub blows faster.
