DEI 2-way remotes

I have a DEI Hornet/Valet 564T 2-way alarm/rs and my LCD remote (P/N 477T) is dying on my. I was wondering if the Clifford/Python/Viper 2-way LED remotes (P/N 488X/P/V) were compatible.

wont work...one is lcd and one is led, sends different signals...anything matching the 477 not the 488 will work

Well, I looked at the pics and diagrams for both units, and they seem to share the same antenna, so I would assume they would operate on the same frequency, but you might be right about how the units transmits/receives the signals.

I dont know if your interested but I have two remotes like that. However, I believe that some of the solder points need to be resoldered so they are currently arent working. If you want them, you can have the for the price of shipping +$2.00

wont work man, u need to get an lcd remote, even tho the antennas look the same and are the same the programing in the remotes and brain wont let u inter use them.

Im not 100% on this, but i believe DEI offers a 1 year replacement on their remotes. Might be worth a try to call and check it out.

Nope, unfortunately not. You can find them on eBay for decent prices, but you 'll have to search hard.
