DEH-P9600MP P8400 help!!!

Hi all,

I wonder if any of you has replaced the flexible ribbon of a DEH-P9600 or DEH-P960 etc. The problem I have is that when I removed the two screws of the Detach Grille Assy a spring popped out the right side (where the right screw goes) without being able to see where this spring's edges attach exactly. The service guide does not help, it just shows that the spring fits into the right arm where the Detach Grille Assy is secured. The only thing that could help is maybe some photos that whould show where the two edges of this spring attach (I have tried something but it doesn't look to be correct and I'm afraid I will destroy the spring). Please help!
