Alright, first off... excuse my ignorance when it comes to to car audio, I'm new to this.
So I really wanted some good sound quality combined with a good amount of adjustability for my Toyota Tacoma. The previous owner put in a sub with a JX250, with the stock HU. So, he used a line out converter. Me trying to be smart, clipped off the LOC, and wanted to plug my amp straight to the preamp for subwoofers. I put everything in the dash, no power. So, I break out my multimeter... sure enough, the red ignition wire had zero voltage. The constant yellow has it's 12 volts, so I'm not entirely sure what's going on. I used crimp connectors, if that helps. Also, the grey wire(which is 12V ignition power for toyotas) was connected to a blue wire on the main harness, which goes to the amp.
ANY help would be really appreciated
