Alpine D106 DVD Help ? Won't Show Sources

Hello everyone,

We recently installed a Alpine D106 flip out DVD head unit in buddies 2008 Honda Civic . The problem is it is not showing any sources other than radio and DVD . I have tried looked at deck myself and it appears to only show setup under the sources and no general sources for deck . I tried doing a factory reset on deck with no luck as well . Has anyone come across this before? Is there a trick or a way to show the hidden menu screen or to get the general setup screen to show ? hopefully this makes sense . He bought the alpine ipod cable and all the goodies but none of them show.

in order to access some of the menu you have to put it into the parked mode. park brake on, foot brake (hold), park brake off, park brake on, release foot brake.
