Deck in 06 Pontiac Grand Prix

I woud like to get a Panasonic MP3 CD Car Deck (CQC700) for my Grand Prix, the car has the Onstar but not the Bose system. The guys at Future shop said I need a GMCO by peripheral - which is Replacement Interface

Can anyone help me any ferther on this, because theres no way im paying 250$ CND just to get a deck installed in my car

well, that is what you need.

i paid 60$ shipped for mine off ebay... but that was in the states

fwiw, your factory clock/date display will no longer work.

just seems like a lot to pay for a simple deck install

I found a GMCO Radio Replacement Interface for select GM CLASS-II

but I dont know if thats what I need, because my car dose have OnStar, but not the bose

I think I would need the GMAH24

Because I have Onstar but nooo Bose!

we get it, you have onstar and no bose(same as 80% of the other grand prix's out there, mine included)

you don't have to use the interface, but you'll lose your door chimes and onstar as well as possibly your whole factory dash display.

would the icons on the Gauges and faces still come on when I start the car?
