Deck Distortion

I was just wondering will all the big name brand decks out there like Alpine, Pioneer, Kenwood, etc. Which one of them is least likely to distort at high volume. By that I mean say a deck will go to 60 max and will start to distort at 55.

all headunits will distort at around the same volume (they all have 50x4 mosfet built in amps) so they put around 20wrms to each speaker.

as most of the installs at the shop are just radios, I find that Kenwood and Pioneer decks distort closer to max volume or not at all. all the Alpines i've installed distort around the early 20s. every radio i install I put my DD1 to it just to see.

DEHP1Y pioneer.... only coz it does 60x4 (prob 25wrms into each speaker)

So you found out most Alpine distort early. The Kenwood and Pioneer distort at higher volumes. Looking to put in a aftermarket deck in a 2014 4 Runner and wanted something that won`t distort early. So I should go with either Pioneer or Kenwood. Any others

We use a lot of Pioneers here, I know my AVIC-Z140BH doesn't distort until 38/40 (verified with scope, dd1, and 360.3)

I personally like Kenwood but personally run Clarion and Kenwood. The installer I work with loves Alpine and runs them. The sales guys always sell the Pioneer decks and they all run them. realistically you can't go wrong with any of them. get one that has all the features that you like, don't get one just b/c of the name brand just don't get a deck outside of Pioneer, Kenwood, JVC, Alpine, Clarion.

Kenwood Excelon's are the cleanest I've ever seen at high volumes coming from the rca' s.

Well the features I'm looking for is NAV, Bluetooth, Ipod capability, plays CD and DVD but doesn't have to that about it. What else features are there? Can you guys recommend me a good double din. Want something that will plays at high volume without distorting like some Alpine you guys said. Car is 2014 Toyota 4 Runner Limited.
