Deck cuts out when I slow down

I got a Blaupunkt Austin CD41 from my dads car, and after searching for the right wiring harness, i finally found it at radioshack, they said it would be 45 dollars for them to install it but i cant afford that, so i did it my self. I put in the harness then attached the wires color accordingly.Well, it was hooked up and working well, when the fuse blew just a mile down the road. I got a new fuze, and now it works only when i am driving at a good pace, then shuts off when i slow down for turns and such. It only works when the lights are on. and doesn't work in my ACC position on the ignition.

Any help would be very appreciated.

Sounds like it is incorrectly wired, or something is shorting out. How did you connect the wires together..electrical tape? crimp connectors? Are any wires exposed?

Try reconnecting your ground as well.

wrong ground. http://www.streetdreams.com check the OER section for your car. It might have a braided wire ground. you prolly have it hooked up to a black "ground" wire on the harness.
