Well, in talking with another member here over at the MaximumPC forums I have been steered towards two subs and am in the deciding stage on what to get. I am looking for a SQ or SQL type driver and as such he has directed me towards Sound Splinter and Fi Car Audio. What I have narrowed it down to is the Fi Q 12" and the Sound Splinter Rl-P 12" drivers and I am now looking for people who have experience with one or both of them to give me their thoughts on these drivers, relative strengths, weaknesses and also information on how best to drive each and enclose each for maximum SQ. Also for each what would a dual 1 ohm do as compared to a dual 2 ohm and which would be more advantageous. Thank you all in advance.

Ok, I was looking at the TC Sounds TC-2000, how would that driver be for SQ? Or would the TC-3000 have good SQ, and if I did bump my budget to $340 what could I get that would sound better than any of the suggestions I've made?

Well the tc 2000 is great on low end, and excellent SQ. The 3000 gets louder and a lil lower, but is geared as much towards SQ as the 2000. Per kyle tcsounds.com. Honestly the 2000 is the best sub that i've heard, but I've also heard great things about the fiQ. I'm a tcsounds fan b/c off the great products that ive owned and heard, but from what ALOT of people state on hear so is the fiQ, so either way I think you'll be happy
