deciding wich speakers to get

okay, i blew my right side yesturday... i had some CDT EF-61's.... now im looking for something that can handle the Orion 6002.. these speakers must be shallow no more than 2 1/2 inches tall maybe 3 the MOST but the smaller the better... what should i look into?

Actually, i just had them on volume 25/40 with the gain set with a dmm to 22v for 140w and the right side started to smoke to shit.

Which xover did they have? That plays a big role.

I had my CDT EF61cfi with the 560xovers on around 180w rms per side set with a DMM no problems what so ever at full volume.

yeah they had the 560xover.. something i noticed with these speakers is that they distort after volumen 30.. idk whats up
