deciding between 2 amps for 15'' BL

well my birthday is coming up in 2 weeks and my present to myself is going to be a 15'' Fi bl and an amp for it (as well as a new HU but thats irrelevant in this thread). The amps im deciding between are the hifonics bxi1600d and the Power acoustic 2400D. Ive read that 1800 rms is just a little too much for a 15'' bl so im thinking 1400-1600 should be fine, and after impedence rise and any other factors it'll be even less. Both have similar prices so thats not an issue. So what do you guys think?

Louder, had more authority as well. I liked it more TBH.

Don't get me wrong, the BM's were great subs, and posted up great scores (143.3 @ kick) for being midrange drivers.

i think 1 15'' BL in my little hatch (rsx) should be more than enough to satisfy my bass addiction. the sundown is just too much for me at this point in time. im about to start college and money is starting to become scarce
