Ported/vented enclosure for rl-i8(s)

Did a search for this and still seems that everyone is experiencing now or just not yet. Got an Email from Mike and says to tune them to 33Hz. in car response. The internal net volume is 1.3 Just curious to see who here has actually built a simple ported enclosure for these drivers....or driver //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif As I'm gonna build one soon.

well, a friend built one for my RE8's, and if I remember right, its 1.3cubes....heres a vid of what the box does with both subs getting about 10watts each...or 20 watts total just from the HU. Real simple box, the two subs, with the port out the side.

i was thinking about the same thing.

i was going to get 2 of them and 2 subs = 2.6cubes thats a little to big for me

my second choice is a 12inch FiQ 2.2cubes at least its a little smaller box

i think he was saying 2 of them in one 1.3 cube box, not one of them in a 1.3 cube box each...1.3 cubes for a single 8 would work and get down and dirty but going as small as 1.3 for two net would work just fine as well...

Getting subs shipped to me soon. Boy I can't wait. I'll post pics once I get them. Oh wow. Just checked delivery date and said this Sat. WoW, talk about fast shipping.
