decided to go with the IS300

Oh man, i hope not:rolleyes: I just hope that you are one of the rich kids that truly appreciates everything they got and doesn't take it for granted like the majority of them.
ha yea i know what you mean, different people have different outlooks when it comes to taking things for granted. nothing beats my first car tho which i creamed into a parked trailer, i loved that thing, even after insurance settlement parents wouldnt buy me anything comparable to it.

Im scared to ask what your first car was if an IS300 isn't comparable.

got it off auto trader from texas, 2004, silver with all black interior leather, 60k miles, flawless condition, time to start thinkin of a new audio setup.
cool man. what kind of setup you gonna put in it

Ok, well, my opinion got revised, this isn't nearly as bad after I just met a girl whose parents own Dillons. They bought her a porsche 911 carerra, a ferrari 360 modena, and a bentley for her 18th birthday. And when her grandparents die, she inherits a jet and 5 of the houses they own.

oh and the *****ing i had to listin to about insurance was enough for them just to buy the car. with all my tickets, i have 2 points left on my license, an insurance for me alone every 6 months on this car is $1,238. they werent happy to find that out but whatever..

well your lucky with a clean record and no wrecks my insurance still is right at $1,000 for a pickup with a little v6 and i've got a crapload of discounts. just goes to show the difference from state to state i guess

you are *****ing about 1,238 for 6 months. I pay 1,500 and its not even under my name. And its a Sentra. 4 cyl. I do have an at-fault though. Totalled a Civic.

And I had a buddy who for a year was paying $700 a month in insurance for a Civic Si.

Edit: After reading post above, I have to agree it does depend on where you live. I assume you (OP) lives in a state with public auto insurance. States/Provinces **** that only have private insurance. My buddy who lives in Alberta is paying 90 a month and has 5 tickets, only 1 with points i think though. Ontario where I live doesn't have public insurance, though I wish they made it available, be nice.
