I bought a RF4002 amp that puts out 500 rms and a kicker CVR (2005 model) and put it in a 1.75 cu ft box tuned to 32 hz and tried late night tip on it and holy shit the bass was so loud and also deep. cuz before i always used to run sealed and i decided to go ported and some people say "once u go ported you'll never go back to sealed" i love ported boxes! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I'm not going to refute your own personal opinions, but from an acoustical standpoint, that's not entirely true...tuning that high is going to create a big peak in the frequency response, boosting it a lot in that narrow range but also attenuating the low end.

Tuning low (32Hz and under) is the way to go if you want SQ from a bass reflex enclosure.

switching from sealed to ported is like; switching from 56k to cable/dsl ; or even a pinto to a 2005 Black Mustang!!!!!!!!!!

sounds to me like your L7's need a different ported box
