Decent SQ frontstage with spl subs?

Hmm, thats what I was thinking, or I could just turn the sundown remote gain down to a tenth of its normal listening volume?
I'm looking at your signature, you have 2 IDMAX's which are by far no slouch in the SPL department, how do they work with your Focal's ? Obviously they have much more SQ than my Mach 5 SPL's but they dont overpower your frontstage?
I keep my subs very low for the most part, to get it to blend as best as I could. The the bass is then when needed!

I would say its a good idea to invest in a great front stage only if you're willing to turn down the subs, if not it really wouldnt be worth it.

You're not going to know until you test with a meter. Typically even carpeting a box as opposed to painting is going to lose a few tenths.
