That 1200w rating is a peak power figure and as such can be disregarded as useful for nothing more than marketing purposes.
I do not recall the RMS rating on the 10" Comp VRs right off the top of my head but take that number (the RMS input rating) and then double it since you have two of them.
What is the voice coil configuration on the VRs that you have? Are they Dual 4 Ohm coils? If so you'll want to find an amp that outputs the above-formula'ed wattage level at either 1 Ohm or 4 Ohms (as this is what a pair of DVC 4 Ohm subs can be wired to)
For a 1 Ohm load you'll normally want to look for a 1 Ohm stable monoblock that outputs the wattage you need at that load.
It might be hard to find an affordable monoblock that outputs the power you need at 4 Ohms so if you choose to wire them that way likely you'd want to find a 2 channel amplifier that outputs your target power level when bridged to a single mono channel @ 4 Ohms.

They are dual 2 ohm.

Okay - then you'll want an amp that outputs your target wattage at either 2 Ohms or 1/2 Ohm.
The .5 Ohm stability is a bit more difficult to source at times and can potentially be a bit pricey so likely the best bet here would be to look for what you need power-wise @ 2 Ohms then.

Alright...so we're looking for something that will give you 600-700w @ 2 Ohms.

I was told the Kicker KX600.1 or the JBL GTO600.1 would work great on another forum. Would any of those be good choices?
