To rattlebrain...that's a prize I've wanted to offer for quite some time that's been a little over the bubble //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Swim I think that it would be great if tickets were 5.00-10.00 a piece. then the prizes could get un real. That way we could have a shot at winning some real high end equipment+ cover pay pal fees.Just a thought.LeoWell, as you'll remember we had a raffle that started on November 16/17th.....going to keep that trend of the middle of the month going.
December's raffle will begin on Satuday, the 17th at noon, assuming everything is ready prior to that.
First, I've got a couple of orders of business I would like to take care of, I'd like your opinions on them.
1) I am looking to change up prizes a bit...does anyone have any suggestions? I have been looking around and found a few things that I will be throwing up there, but I would love input from everyone.
2) I was contemplating raising the ticket price from $3 to $3.50 as to cover paypal fees, and we could get some different prizes that way, that are closer to $300. I have found that a lot of prizes are on the boarder of price and therefore have not been offered in the past, I think this MAY be a way to change that a bit.
Please let me know what you think on the two above topics. Assuming I get good response to this today and tomorrow...I will post a prize list tomorrow night to give everyone a heads up, and we will start selling tickets on Saturday //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
For anyone who is new, or doesn't know...I run a monthly raffle here. Information can be found at www.caraudioraffle.com
X2When's the raffle start?
That was the last I heard on a time.Ok guys, I need to apologize, i said i would have a prize list up on Thursday night, but I ended up coming home from college a few days earlier than i had anticipated and I've been doing things with the family and also struggling to get my internet hooked up to MY computer (which still isn't done)....which is where all my web files are.
I have made a decision though, or rather a couple.
1) I think we are going to try raising the price to $3.50 a ticket. If it doesn't work well then we can drop it back down next month...always up for an experiment. This will allow us to get prizes that are right around $300 shipped (+- ~$10).
2) Because we're changing this, and I've had the fiasco of getting my computer hooked up, plus the idea that it's Christmas in a week, we are going to settle back into the original scheme of things and start it out on the first of the month, and continue to do so after that. So, the raffle will start January 1st, new years //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
So given that, let's keep this thread up with some ideas for the prizes that are right around that price bench mark and by next weekend we will have a solid list up that can still have the time to be modified if it needs it. This gives you guys a lot more input, which I think is important in something like this //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
