December RAFFLE

Well, as you'll remember we had a raffle that started on November 16/17th.....going to keep that trend of the middle of the month going.

December's raffle will begin on Satuday, the 17th at noon, assuming everything is ready prior to that.

First, I've got a couple of orders of business I would like to take care of, I'd like your opinions on them.

1) I am looking to change up prizes a bit...does anyone have any suggestions? I have been looking around and found a few things that I will be throwing up there, but I would love input from everyone.

2) I was contemplating raising the ticket price from $3 to $3.50 as to cover paypal fees, and we could get some different prizes that way, that are closer to $300. I have found that a lot of prizes are on the boarder of price and therefore have not been offered in the past, I think this MAY be a way to change that a bit.

Please let me know what you think on the two above topics. I wouldn't mind seeing a change in the list of available prizes. The current one has been being used for awhile so a change wouldn't be terrible, I wouldn't think.

I can't speak for anyone else but the ticket price increase would be okay with me as well. If it would greatly expand the prize options and all certainly that would be cool. And you can still get the maximum of five tickets for under $20 and potentially get $300 worth of gear for your trouble....I call it a fair deal //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsup.gif.3287b36ca96645a13a43aff531f37f02.gif

I'm going to try and have two different lists compiled by tomorrow night and then you guys can let me know if the ticket price jump would be worth it...

Maybe include something from the DIY active area...seems to be gaining in popularity.

the 200 ticket thing is kinda weak, wicked prize thoguh, maybe have one of those that runs longer. The ncie thing about it is VERY good odds if you can buy 5 out of 100 tickets.. as for the 3.50 thats a pretty good deal for better prizes and such.
