debadging my chevy...help

ok, i have a 2001 silverado. i want to debadge it completely, but mainly the stock side trim along the bottom of the doors. how do i do this? i dont want to eff up the paint job or anything.

anyone have experience with this?

I think its just held on with adhesive. If so, just heat it up a little with a heat gun or hair dryer and run some fishing line under it, should pull it off nice and clean.

If there is still adhesive after you take off the badge, just use some goo gone and elbow grease to get rid of it. Might want to wax the area after you finish
