Though they are different takes on huge Xmax and flat BL, the Parthenon and the XMX from RE share the same type of suspension(they might be slightly different to achieve each companies goals)

In this pic, you can see how the "spiders" are also the tinsel leads.

what the hell. i dont even understand how these are held together and dont break.

i cant imagine what the hell is on the bottom of the RE, looks like that black cylander is the magnet (and a heavy one at that) and theres the coil... how the hel is it attached?! it looks to be floating. and whats up with the baffle? why no shots from the top //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/bawling.gif.6287aa5d1d447c8af063fc9466e822ef.gif and how do those little metal coils keep the VC aligned? they look flimsy to me =\

They should make a 18" driver with a Parthenon motor attached to it. That way I can get one in my car!!!

I would seriously pay for something like that.

Really? Pioneer, Alpine, RE, Orion in past year. 2nd RE sub, plus RE8 sitting around. Ive had 2 Pioneer decks, Sony deck, two Alpine Decks, and now on second Kenwood deck. Thats what ebay does to me, I see cheep stuff and buy it
