deaf.

LMFAO. .22 ?!?!? I thought you'd at least say like a .45 or something. Seriously, though, shooting is probably worse for your ears than hours of music. The way the ear works it does something inside to decrease sensitivity as noise increases, so say at a concert or long music sessions your inner ear has adjusted to the elevated noise levels. While shooting, you go from ultra quiet night to 150dB + instantly.

If I'm gonna go deaf it'll be from listening to music, not chainsaws, gunfire, lawnmowers, and other dumb ****. I always use ear protection for stuff like that.

a .22 goes pew pew, a .45 goes bang bang.
and a 454 casull goes BOOM

oic ya the loudest gun ive ever heard was a 300 weatherby short mag, i was sittin in the back seat and my uncle shot out of the window at a deer and i didnt cover my ears, huge mistake... my ears were ringing the whole time i was in my deer stand later that day

lololol a .22

i used to do maintence at the indoor range in robbinsdale and went in there sometimes without ears on, now THAT hurts. especially when someone next to you is shooting a 30-06 or any old rifle. it reverberates off the wall x100

I can shoot my .357 (mag, not sig) outdoors with no protection and not even flinch. Rifles hurt pretty bad though

:laugh:the archery range gets pretty loud also
