Why do people recommend buying peel and seal as the 'cheap' option, at 15 bucks a pop @ 25' x 6" roles, when you could get the same amount of eDead or whatever for the same price?

i bought some and it is only 12.5 square feet of deadener... they suggest like 40 per door... that is like 90 bucks for not even 80 square feet of deadener...

just curious why people suggest this as the cheaper route. Thanks
