Deadening my doors

If I wanted to deaden my doors and they look like this would I remove that plastic and do the inside of the doors as well or just deaden of the the top of the plastic??

I had 50 for my two doors and I did 2 layers and didn't only used like 3/4 of it, I would get 40 just to be safe.

Good question, its a 2005 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab, I havent taken the panels off, these were pictures from someone else

ya, if there's no metal behind the plastic, you're gonna have to do some welding, get creative with some plywood or plexiglass, or do a sealed doorpod or kickpanel.

Ok got a serious problem now, I do have metal behind the foam but I have no idea how I am going to make these crystals work.

Here is the hole in my door

Now what can I make to allow the speaker to be mounted in that hole. Without cutting into the factory door panel besides installing the tweeter.

Shouldn't be hard. just make an mdf baffle that will cover the entire hole, seal the baffle to the metal with modeling clay, and then install the speaker to the baffle. It'll hold it out 3/4" and cover the hole.

Buy some MDF wood and then just make a mout for them
