thoughts on fatmat. I found it for a pretty good price for a small amount with a cutter and roller. Is this stuff any good?
Her some story’s of it not staying glued down but imho that’s probably due to not cleaning and prepping before sticking it down. I have never used it myself , how thick is it ?

it says 50 mil on the site. I figured its worth a shot at $17 shipped for 5 sq ft with a roller and cutter.

50 mil is kinda thin may be double up ? I used 80 mil and doubled and tripled that but I was using a off brand someone I knew was importing , I think it was called bull dog barrier and I got it really cheap but going over the whole cab three times I could have bought better and thicker stuff and been done faster and cheaper probably?

Ive had 3 layers of 80mil. on for approx 4 years now.. Cleaned everything with Alcolhol..spot spray paint any exposed bolts or nuts..silicone any exposed joints.Spot sprayed those also.Placed first layer with using heat gun and second and third.Just hot enough that it will stick and roll, nicely/not melted.Any cavity areas that are used for replacement parts such as doors..3/8" ABS plastic with self tapping 5/16"-1/2" screws and sealed around with silicone.Never had any issues
