theres definetly a difference in voltage when trying diff test tones an output as well. i think he'll be okay at 50.4 ect just unless he doesnt have everything turned up on his HU

VERY TRUE. Great point!
But as far as using a 50Hz test tone, this is something I am doing a video on soon that will disprove the standard 50Hz tone rule. It will be based on excursion control and impedance changes rather than a standard. Ill hopefully have it up soon, within the month, so things like this are avoided.

so im FINE where im at???.

what do u mean by everything turned up

like i said it sounds fine where it is, when songs are playing, the bass hits no more than like 45, and these are dj slow n throws songs, so the normal average song is like 40 or under when it hits on the amp.

Yea your fine and like i said in my first post dont turn up the bass from your head unit and keep the loudness low or off that way your hu wont send clipped signal and you wont send clip signal to your front stage as well

okay thanks, i mean it sounds just fine, how come ppl are saying i shouldnt, and your saying its okay, the bass for my speakers is -6 on my deck, and the sub w lvl is 7/8 if i turn it down i get no bass, LOUD is off.

these are the deck settings:

Pro Equalizer:

bass 60hz q 2.0

mid 1.0hz q 1.25

treb 10.0hz q FI

Audio:

Sub W LPF - Low 85hz - goes up to 200?

Sub W LVL - 8/8

HPF on

Amp gain - high power

loud OFF

Tuner:

area us

all set to 0

Source select am on

i just made a video which im uploading of my system, the amp i think is set to like 50.4, and when playing songs, its hitting like 39 max, and my voltage meter on my battery for one song was staying at 12.7, so am i okay? the videos will be up once done uploading.

thanks.

12.7 is pretty good with that wattage on stock

but as long as it never hits below 12 im good right? so if it ever hit like 12.2 im fine?
yeah. once it gets to about 11.8 is when i worry about blowing stuff up. i still drop to 12.8 on hard notes at times with a huge batt. 12-14 is ''usually'' a safe range
