Low end as in low frequencies? If so, that's wrong. They pound the lows real well and they're pretty musical at 40hz.

1500rms will be good but 2500+ will be even better.

Why not go with the 3515 if you only have 1500 to work with?

3500 aint bad at all. i can burp all day with two orion 2500d on a single 3512. gotta make sure tha coils cool though.

If you only have 1500 rms there is no way you will "pop" it at any frequency in music unless you are severely clipping the hell out of the signal. And even then, it's iffy that there is a chance of blowing it.
