DD3515 Bed Cut Box??

i have 2 3515's in my truck with a bed cut. the current box is approx 18ft net, 240in port 18 in long. should make it about 34hz. when playing it for extended time fairly loud, the coils start to smell pretty bad. Question?? is there such thing as a box being TOO BIG? i was trying to take advantage of the amount of space i have to work with, but what do ya'll think???

running AQ2200 at 1ohm...

Too big of a box can take away from power handling (subs take less wattage)
